Facial Mesotherapy is a treatment in which a customized multivitamin blend of complexion-brightening vitamins are micro-injected below the epidermis to improve skin's texture and tone. The combination of multiple active ingredients will make a dramatic change in your appearance by stimulating, firming, restructuring and repairing.
Also, by depositing vitamins directly into the skin, we’re giving the tissues exactly what they need, where they need it. After a series of four to six weekly treatments into specific facial points, skin will look fresher and more radiant.
It is recommended for treatment of the following:
When will I see results?
Most patients notice immediate improvement in the skin’s appearance. Continued improvement will be highly noticeable as the skin cells naturally regenerate. Additional beneficial results usually within 2-4 sessions, depending on the age and the condition of your skin, with total results unfolding over 3-4 months.
How long do the results last?
Patients are recommended to have a single follow-up maintenance treatment every 6 months after they complete the initial series of 2-4 treatments.
Is the procedure painful?
Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injection, your doctor may choose to numb (anesthetize) the treatment area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream to further minimize discomfort.
How long does a procedure take?
The injection procedure takes approximately 30 minutes. However, topical anesthesia requires 30-40 minutes to become effective (if so needed). You will also need to allow time to consult with your doctor prior to treatment.
What is the recovery time following a procedure?
Most patients are in and out of the physician’s office with minimal or no downtime. Usually, you may return to your daily routine immediately.
What are the possible side effects and unwanted risks?
Most side effects are mild and short lasting. Minimal bruising can occur, but this is minimized through the use of microinjection techniques. The most common side effects include, temporary skin reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, swelling, warm sensation, or temporary soreness.
